100MW (AC) Grid Interactive Solar PV Power Projects was established at Kamuthi, Tamil Nadu. It was completed by a record of 4 months’ time. It is a prestigious CPSU order executed by Hild Energy .

With this project Hild Energy becomes a part of National Solar mission of India to achieve the target of 100 GW by 2022.

The scope of the project include the following

  • Acquisition of land and Load flow study
  • Design and Engineering of the plant
  • Procurement and erection
  • Transport.
  • Commissioning and maintenance.

The following are key segments of the project that proves the efficiency and effectiveness of Hild Energy in accomplishing the project milestones.



  Pooling substation and power evacuation

  • Pooling Sub-Station (PSS) was build as per the TANGEDCO specification and TANTRANSCO / CEA norms
  • Dedicated 110KV Power transmission line of Double Circuit Tower with single circuit , stringing about 9.57 KM from PSS to nearest SS
  • Main control room was build with necessary rooms required for smooth operation of plant in all aspects.
  • Separate space allotted for breaker Control panels for incoming feeders, SCADA monitoring room, Store room for critical spares, Conference room, Battery Charger and Battery room, Office cum admin room, Pantry, Toilet

Each PCSS room was equipped with Inverters of those blocks, Battery charger, Auxiliary Transformer with UPS, SCADA RTU, Outdoor Transformer with HT Breakers and FDA System.
